CCLD is specialized in the initiation, management and co-ordination of multi-disciplinary transnational research, development and innovation (RD&I) projects, often with European funding. As a member of multi-disciplinary teams it also contributes to specific RD&I activities in projects such as end user requirement determination; system design; test and evaluation; legal research (specifically for the laws of England and Wales); and communication and implementation strategies. The focus of its work is on applications connected with security. CCLD works at the interfaces between end users, researchers and industry to support international cooperative RD&I and in this role is experienced in moderating and motivating interdisciplinary RD&I.

 

Main role in 3D-Forensics/FTI

 

CCLD was primarily responsible for the project management and to lead the activities connected with the communication and exploitation of the results as well as the overall testing and validation strategy with the External Expert Tester Group (EETG).
