The advanced 3D-Forensics/FTI 3D-Scanner and 3D analysis software prototypes were delivered on loan to the Landeskriminalamt Sachsen (“State Office of Criminal Investigations” in the German Federal State of Saxony).
On the day members of LKA Sachsen received training and participated in “round robin” tests. The “round robin” tests are contributing to the developmental validation of the system and are focussed on testing the consistency of measurement precision (reproducibility) in terms of resolution and accuracy.
In the next 3-4 months LKA Sachsen will have the opportunity to test the advanced prototypes internally and to provide valuable feedback to the project team.
