A training workshop was held for members of the Landeskriminalamt Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (“State Office of Criminal Investigations” in the German Federal State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) and Landeskriminalamt Sachsen (“State Office of Criminal Investigations” in the German Federal State of Saxony) with members of the consortium.
LKA participants received presentations, demonstrations and training on the use of the system’s 3D-Scanner and 3D analysis software. The 3D-Forensics/FTI project’s objectives and approach were also discussed. The workshop was in preparation of the loan of initial system prototypes to both LKAs. LKA participants were already able to give very useful feedback on their user requirements which will contribute to the development of the advanced system prototype.
